Laminate is a type of hard floor that is made from compressed processed wood. On top of this is a photo print with a top layer foil. This top layer makes the laminate floor more durable and stain resistant.
Many terms are used when it comes to PVC, but they basically mean the same thing. LVT stands for Luxury Vinyl Tiles, and LVT floors are therefore sometimes referred to as vinyl floors or PVC floors. Vinyl sheets and linoleum are usually available on a roll and are glued down. LVT floors, however, are available in loose planks or tiles, which can therefore also be installed “floating”. Naturally, LVT floors can also be glued to the sub-floor.
The laminate carrier is made of compressed processed wood and the PVC flooring carrier is usually made of plastics. The carrier of LVT-SPC floors, Solidfloor's vinyl floors, are made of stone gravel. This makes the floors more durable and more resistant to indoor heat differences.
Solidfloor's LVT-SPC floors can be installed in almost any room, they are all 100% waterproof and have good resistance to indoor humidity and temperature differences. This makes the floors extremely suitable for placing in the bathroom.
